Born in 1972 in Hitchin England, Hypnosis was always a fascinating subject for me and after some hypnotherapy sessions I just knew I had to be more involved, I wanted to be able to help people.
I did research and to my astonishment found in the UK, there is no certified qualification you need to take in order to be “qualified”
I was offered several weekend courses where I would emerge a Hypnotherapist and have a string of letters after my name, this was incredibly upsetting, how could I possibly be qualified after such a short time ?
I went on to complete a distance learning course which took a year and I passed with flying colors. I have the following letters after my name A.M.I.H which stands for Associate Of Midlands Institute in Hypnosis
After that I went on to complete a Neuro Linguistic Programming course in Covent Garden London which was 40 hours of practical learning this was a fantastic course provided by an American Couple Julie Silverthorn MS and John Overdurf C.A.C, they together produced two books Training Trances and Dreaming Realities.
I have lived in Florida since 2007
Although I am qualified to practice Hypnosis, I decided to further my education by going to the Florida Institute Of Hypnotherapy in Tampa Florida, I have graduated The Florida Institute Of Hypnotherapy and now have gained the qualification of Clinical Hypnotherapist. ( CHt )
I have gained the qualification Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique Level 1 Practitioner, which is a modality that Delores Cannon developed to access the higher self, to gain insight and deep knowledge and explore past life patterns and karma. (QHHT)
I am a Reiki Master, and a Mesa Carrier.
I am qualified to help medical conditions, you will need to speak to your doctor about Hypnosis and ask them for a written referral before seeking Hypnosis.
I am registered with the American Council Of Hypnotist Examiners.
